Man, where did the summer go. The World Series wrapped up last night, so that hammered home the point that fall is here and winter's coming. Congrats to KC! As Jays fans, at least we can say we were beat by the eventual champs (small consolation though). It was great summer here in Toronto with the excitement around the Blue Jays. We are all are pretty big sports fans and got to quite a few games this year. A lot band talk usually goes on during the games, but now its back to the real thing... writing, recording... TOURING!
We were stoked to get the offer to open the Theory of a Deadman "Unplugged 15" tour in January. We've played a ton of shows out west over the years but these ones are special because: a) we are genuine TOAD fans b) they are acoustic shows and c) we are hitting quite a few new towns and all new venues on this run. We don't wanna just play the songs the same way we would fully amped up, so we are gonna rework them and through a few curves in there too. We may even invite a friend along.
So if you're in Western Canada, get your tickets soon... its perfect timing for Christmas gifts (only a few weeks after the holidays) You'll probably need a night out by then... haha
In our next blog we'll attempt to explain we don't play Eastern Canada as much as we'd like... believe us, its not as simple as it might seem... later peeps!
Rock ain't dead!
